    I fear it was a rabbit, BL.  It's also eaten all the carrot tops and nibbled the leeks.  When I saw it it was innocently eating the grass, of which there's a copious supply.  I chased it away but can't find the hole in the fence through which it must be coming in image

     I was surprised after four years I have flowers on the Kiwi plant ,must like growing with Albertina and celebration.

    LesleyK sorry I only just saw your question about the red flower in my piccies. It's Lychnis chalcedonica. Or maltese cross as its also called. I have taken seeds from last year to try and grow more. They are only around two inches. The one in the picture is 3ft ish.
