Gorgeous FG, I definitely NEED some white and purple, they are a necessity to a good border I think, well that's what I'll be telling OH anyway image

    Oh totally vital Tracey image

I got most of mine online so they weren't that expensive really and it's lovely at this time of year. That border is narrow and as I see it from the back windows of the house, I wanted plenty of highlights just now. There's a few later flowering things and a good bit of evergreen in it as well. Other parts of the garden will come to the fore in spring and summer so I wanted it  to look good for late winter mainly. It's all a bit messy in front of the border as I moved the shed and back gate last summer, and I have a path and a small lawn to do there, along with a few other things. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I am sitting at work, thoroughly bored as nothing to so, but have just looked at all the lovely pictures.  Cheered me up no end.  I must get out and take more in our garden.  I have a fine array of daffs and lots of other new shoots sprouting up.

I am planning to have a little re-design in the garden, so perhaps I can use this time to gather some inspiration.

And here is a lovely pieris in flower, pieris japonica Katsura, and it's even better when the leaves turn red!
