Lovely pics again - my favourite thread for passing the time (waiting for the "isolated shower" to go and isolate itself elsewhere). My roses and delphiniums are my stars at the minute
I love PINK roses! Shropshire Lad, Mortimer Sackler and Constance Spry, in that order.
and then my delphiniums grown from seed 3 years ago - the best they have been
So much colour in everyone's gardens! It's great to see
Love that border with the sweet William and the delphiniums Busy Lizzie, amazing colour combo Really nice to see the foxtail lilies too- I've only got one yellow spike this year and one 'other colour' that didn't come up last year. Loads of tatty foliage though- so at least they're not dead
Not much going on in my garden at the mo but here's a pic of the pond seat view:
doc- I always though chrysographes was only one variety, but because of the similarity, I did a little research and there are quite a few varieties so perhaps it's just one of those. The flowers are very small - about 2" and it's very similar in habit etc.
Lovely rose pix - not a fan of them particularly, apart from climbers, but lovely to see them in other's gardens - if that makes any sense! I love the form of those heavy, crinkly varieties.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I think we are nearly done at the front.. the gravels down for the cars after lots of trials with plastic retainers. Just the wall to finish pointing. Though the lawns still patchy.
Im fighting a war now with a family of pied wagtails who spend all day leaving there young roaming around the 2 veg plots pulling up every seedling (no matter how big - from Bortoli beans and french green beans to sprouts and cabbage - they love them all). Netting didn't fool them for one minute they simply lifted it up
Lots more pics but everyone I now try to upload gives me an GW.com error..

Thanks Busy-Lizzie. We have bare root roses in the shops at the moment. Haven't seen that one yet tho.
Panda, I love that purple / grey combination, very moody.
When you don't even know who's in the team

Fabulous pics everyone, I took another sneak at Punkdoc's borders and can only imagine what a pleasure it is to tend
