I think this may have been Busy Lizzie's idea that I have 'borrowed', I like it and hope it works. Only just planted it so it needs to grow a bit yet but hoping for lots of lovely fruit (strawberries and apples!)

Once it gets going it will be covered with flowers.
Lizzie my Exochorda is one of the few things that is slow this year only has a couple of flowers open. It is my favorite plant in my garden.
Pic below was taken late April last year.
Chicky I can't remember if mine flowered in it's first year, but it has been reliable even after transplanting.

aubretia is flowering, but can anyone advise why some of the foliage is so pale? The plant seems healthy.
