verdun polemoniums(and a lot of other things alas) are winter hardy here but are taken to a better place by our hot and dry summers-had forgotten about stairway to heaven-curse you for reminding me of its demise

Lovely flowers on here. Wish I could grow monarda - I've tried twice and failed. The cosmos are great for filling gaps - I wouldn't be without them. Victoria that mullein is really mahoosive
things looking great peoples-victoria sponge very nice usually like the idea of verbascum better than reality. roadtrips for a month and hellacious hot-may and june warmest ever and july off the charts-

Lesley, only second year growing monardas and quite surprised how they have thrived (aka taken over!).
