My lovely son has just seen my Orchid pics on here and told me I didn't take them because it was too good!!! Not sure whether that's a compliment or not image

Wow PD, what a lovely garden, not seen pics of it before, just close ups, really nice. The clematis looks the same as one of  my new ones, Pamela Jackman. What's the tree with the white flowers (in the pic above the one with the summer house in it)?

  • punkdocpunkdoc Posts: 15,038

Thankyou Mrs Garden. The tree is a Corylopsis. Not good camera work by me, as the flowers are yellow.

Some of the pictures with the house in, are a bit of a cheat, as the house is split into two, although we own most of the garden.

Thanks SGL., the back is getting better, although I am taking it easy, well if truth be told I am horizontal.

What a gorgeous garden punkdoc - i have just spent a happy 10 minutes browsing round itimage.  Is the stream in the pictures the one that nearly flooded earlier in the year?  And what are the purple tipped pink flowers in pic 14?  Really unusual.

Pdoc if you need an undergardener I'll live in the summer house and look after the Mecanopsis. image

    Magnolia grandiflora taken yesterday.

Magnolia Susan, which I think more suited to smaller gardensimage
