That's the deer fenced bit, there's more! But not as planted up with flowers, more trees and shrubs. Don't forget this France, about 3 times the amount of land available as in the UK. for a much cheaper price. And we've been here in this house since 1990. Except there wasn't a garden then.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
My poppies have finished now...they didn't last very long thanks to the weather. My second Poppy opened and finished yesterday/today while I've been away
But, it, I have come home to an amazing display from my Iceberg and loads more buds and my Many Happy Returns is just about to open too.....they are sooooooo beautiful

Right, that's it....I'm off to France...I just need a job
Great gardens as always
David Spikes, all your garden is lovely but the pic of the honeysuckle with the containers behind is amazing- beautiful colours.
Potsandpansies- love all the purple and contrasts
Wintersong- I really like your tree too and was wondering what it was so glad someone asked! It is very elegant
Last of the lupins- aphids have got them now...
Sneaky poppy- nearly didn't spot this in the cotoneaster
It's lovely when plants pop up where you weren't expecting them. Pretty poppy.

It also looks like the weeds have taken advantage of a weekend if no gardening and sunshine and rain

I promised a piccy of one of my clematis in flower. Not sure of it's name.. and some other shots this evening.
sorry not sure why pictures appear sideways,
Lush garden, all growing really well.
Lovely pics - especially the clematis and the delphinium -the blues do it for me every time
