Interesting Fidget, I have no terracotta Bishops children, but lots of luminous pink, and a fair few reds.

Rain?  Hosepipe from the street?  Internal plumbing system?

berlandieri lyrata-smells like bittersweet chocolate. have some more than tentative plans for the garden but hard to get into autumn redo mode when temps are still in the 90's. great dahlias, i like messing with them from seed-bishop will not grow here-or at least not for me.

There are a few carmine red , no yellow, but a lot of terracotta in my batch. I think they must be mainly off bishop of oxford.

Not very mixed. I think they will look better as single colour groups,so I will be labelling and then growing on next year.

I have no yellow either. Mine are labelled up, so that I can place them better next year.
