Thankyou Fairygirl and Forester2, I am happy with the arch and yes Forester2, its Eucalyptus pauciflora subsp. niphophila.

I love it because its light and airy and its about 17yrs old, so not really massive. Also the peeling bark on a wet day is gorgeous image

Your garden is lovely, Wintersong, and so well tended. No slugs on the hosta either.

nice wintersong-a lot more than nice-sisyrinchiums dont like our winter dryness-the first cold bright day with humidity under 10% and they are gone-even mulching doesnt help but excelsior!!!!

and is your ononpordum giganteum this big? the basal rosette on this one is 4 ft across-not a plant to put where you might run into it on a dark night-

Open day went very well, lovely day 27°, 61 people, tiring. Did a rather ambitious tea.

Wrote about it on "Hello Forkers".

Lovely photos again.  Could almost smell the honeysuckle Matt and David. Wintersong your garden looks gorgeous.

David from what I've seen on here it is only fair to have an open day and let other mere mortals enjoy itimage

Tray14 - what a great selection of colourful pants and pots.

    Keep the pics comingimage

Lovely pics everyone.  Here are a couple of my 'rescue' Lillies, taken just now in between dodging heavy rain showers!

The tree Lily doesn't flower for another month or so and goodness knows when the Poached  Egg Plant will give me any Poached Eggs......the pots haven't turned out quite as I wanted them because I thought they would be flowering by now.
