Lovely splashes of colour Victoria. You can see that late summer/autumn light coming in. It definitely changes the flower colours.

Took some pix later yesterday evening and also this morning

with apologies for the horrid gravel and slabs - they won't be there next year I hope!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Its looking great Fairy - and all only a year old - you are making such a difference to that space,  love that nasturtium too - another for the notebook - think i could have that tumbiling down a wall in my red corner.  Good to see the soon to be "ex" buddleia will live on in spiritimage

Your climate brings it's own problems David! You can grow all sorts of things that I couldn't grow here though image

Hope your wasp stings are better now.

The best thing to do with a garden is give it a good looking at.

Which is what I'm doing today image

Can see summer beds going over, time to divide and replant, this gives space for others. Having spent the last few weeks looking at gardens am contemplating a few changes and the photos on here are really inspiring too.

aybe a stronger colour here and there, something to take into autumn and would love to have taller plants which will 'frost' into winter. Think I will have to cut back on the lawns for deeper borders image Much to consider image

  • non-gardeners dont realize how much looking a good garden requires-i have a friend who calls me the secret gardener because he claims hes never actually seen me do anything.
