    Hi Chicky, the stream in the photo is the outflow from thr pond which then joins the real stream. the little purple flowers are the perennial sweet pea [ Lathyrus vernis ] pretty plant, easy from seed

    KEF, I would love an under gardener, I have always fancied having someone to boss around out there. Some how I think i might lose those Meconopsis. Your more likely to find me in the summer house, due to bad behavior!

    Beautiful gardens punkdoc and KEF, but I knew that alreadyimage Those pulmonaria are such a gorgeous blue. Must get some.

    I wish my Pieris (I hope it's Pieris!!) looked like that, it is so small and feeble and is doing nothing, not dead just not growing image

    The sweetpea seedlings have been planted out into a corner of the herb garden.
