These are a few pics from around my garden the other day.

I have never grown tulips in a pot (or anywhere actually) so that is one of my success stories and I now have 2 flowering image

I have put my little confider on for Edd's benefit (1970's style image)

I've also included my 'messy' corner for those that think every bit of my garden is mega tidy.....just to prove I don't have OCD (well not too bad anyway!!)

I can't see the pics to make more comments or post underneath them so hope this post turns out ok!!!

  • Chicky,

Nope that lavender is no where near a wall and has been exposed to all the mental winds and storms etc. It is facing south though, and I live in Dorset on sandy soil which they love. None of my English lavenders are anywhere near flowering either, just those two. Weird.

Meerkat - as you say, most strangeimage

Tracey - thanks for sharing your garden photos.  Love the white blossom on the tree - is it a fruit tree?  My tulip pots are showing buds now too - but no flowers yet ..... Oh, the anticipationimage

Lovely gardens Eco and Orchid. My lavender is still in the GH, no buds, doing what they should be doing! Love yours Meerkat.

A couple more of mine, new clematis (alpina, Pamela Jackman) and a fritallaria I forgot I'd planted (wonder what else is on it's way!)

Meerkat - I know it's really wierd. I've been selling tons of French Lavenders in flower today, and they've been outside!

Fairygirl - That's a fab picture, I've always admired ladybirds. there should be hardly any aphids in your garden! image

Everything's very new in the garden Ryan - there wasn't much planting here at all when I moved in just over a year ago. Hopefully I'll see a few more ladybirds this year - didn't spot any last year at all.
