lily - you haven't seen the bit where the old fence was, and the shed, and thegeraniums need moving...and the giant buddleia...and the old honeysuckle...and the...well, you get the idea
It's work in progress.
MrsG- I can highly recommend the pasqueflowers. Don't know why I've not grown more of them before. They really are beautiful and they go well with so many of the other spring flowers. You've got lots of lovely little places they could go. I pass mine on the way out the back gate and it cheers me no end when I see them and I can also see them from the kitchen window.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Well fairy all the pics you have put on here of your garden are always beautiful, you obviously work very hard, and you are rewarded with lovey flowers.
Lovely pics as always. Mrs garden it looks like you have worked really hard and your garden looks lovely
I agree Panda, good to have a nosey but not much bamboo about, there was a thread the other day that someone was trying to kill some.....what's your view on that
Not much happening in my garden, we've had some not so pleasant weather here in Worcester, but I did get three or so hours yesterday to do some potting up, weeding and the such. Got the lawn finally mown, I can try and focus on getting rid of all the daisies - tips on a postcard please, and maybe trying something with our small borders, but that's for a different thread!
I was overzealous with my weeding and found this wee bulb, there were still some roots attached, so I'm hoping it might grow, I had a spare pot, so I don't see any harm in seeing what may come of it!
Sadly with the rain, the parsley shoots we waiting for so long to show got flooded the other day, I drained it as best I can and have left it alone since... The coriander on the right is thriving though!
We treated ourselves to this lovely watering can, I'm resisting to turn it into a planter with some tumbling ivy and maybe some pansies.
Ran out of space in the Greenhouse! Needs must! I have so many plants, for such a tiny space, I'm hoping I can find someone who wants them if they survive being outside!
Now I've got the lawn cut, I can show you the entirety of the size of the garden without being too embarrassed of all the weeds! The small border to the right isn't very deep, and is topped with wood chips, so I don't know if they're appropriate to plant in.
OL, It's ever such a dinky house, but it's really starting to feel like home now I'm putting time and effort into it. I think I'd actually be loathed to move now, and I've not felt like that in a good few years!
That's good, it doesn't matter how small / big your house is, it's what inside that matters because that's what makes a house a home When I say inside, that obviously includes the garden

Hi all
Took some pics in the main garden I run today....
^ This is the ridiculously big greenhouse (which I shall nevertheless fill) with riduculously big Early Purple in the foreground.
^ Blackbird looking for food amonst the newly-hoed strawberries (and garlic)
^ Part of the ornamental bit.... there are summer bulbs about to appear in much of the blank bits...I hope!
There are more but that'll do for now!
