Lychnis MrsG? I have seen lots of pink ones but there are white. All beautiful pics. whatever their names are The first clematis is a great colour and unusual shape.
At the moment I'm having a white phase (I'll get over it) but I do love how the plants shine out when the sun goes down. I would swop my pink for your white
It's Daniel Deronda ighten - but it's not as blue as that - it's quite purpley. The bluey purples all tend to come out very blue on my camera. Someone techie will probably know why!
The white Lychnis are lovely. I have quite a few whites Lesley - brilliant for shady areas especially if you get some acid greens and variegated foliage in with them. A favourite of mine is the white broom (Cytisus praecox Album) - I used to have one at the front gate in a previous garden and it was lovely at dusk.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We all have different spaces we occupy - terraced - semi - detached - point is we make the most of what we have - joy and happy gardening - love all the different pictures.
Thanks for the kind words about my jungle! My tree fern is the most expensive plant I've ever bought, £60 for a 9' truck. Its probably @ 90 years old, so I give it a lot of T.L.C!
