Well only a few months and we will be sowing seeds
All this wind my plastic gh got 2 rips, need it up a small bit longer while I try and make my cold frame, I have cleaned it out ready to go away all expect my grow bag of wildflower mix and dahlias tubers I am trying to store collected today trying to dry out and my sweet peas seedlings
Is nice picture so nice and sunny - holly hocks were my favourite bit in the herb garden
Zoomer shame you are going to get rid of your first plot, are you going to move anything you have that you want to keep to your other plot
Was that the plot that had more allotmenteer's near by for advice? can't quite remember
That's the one Gg it was in the middle of the allotments but most peole stop and talk at this new one and I've taken to walking up the track to the other newbie's plots who started at the same time as me to check out what they've been doing and to swap tips.
Part of the enjoyment for me was developing the site and seeing it change from something which resembled a wilderness into a productive veg plot. This new one has so much more potential. There's still half to dig over and new beds to put in so it'll take up alot of time. It's one of the biggest on the site.
I'm Christmas shopping tomorrow and it's forcast a wet weekend so no gardening here this weekendMight look on line to purchase some seeds....
The Big Allottment challenge , is that the programme that was on last year ?
Personally I enjoyed watching it
Lots of meetings last week , next week lots of Christmasy things , other than getting some veg , looks like I'm not going to get their until after Christmas
Look forward to watching Allotment challenge as I enjoyed the last series (except for the presenter!!) Good to learn some more useful tips.
Might get to the stables if its dry and bag up some more manure for the plot tomorrow, the soil is starting to look good now.
The main path at the top of my plot is looking a bit of an eyesore so I might start clearing the weeds and debris and prepare it for some flowers for the summer.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and its not too wet

Hello not wet , just frozen if not in the sun
Ealier celeriac was mentioned what to do with it , you can also grate it raw in salads and put in coleslaws
hopefully this frost will improve the parsnips
There was a repeat of River Cottage Christmas and Hugh made a creamy grattan with Celeriac...yummy
