  • GWRS Like the fire that looks so nice and warming, great you got loads done -  I see you have some tyre planters, I have one at home turned inside out and shaped and a few at the train station where I volunteer,  they do make great planters

GWRS have you got your two half plots together now or are they not next to each other

Fruitcake I am being good not getting anything even with 20% off T&M - maybe another time I will want something

Gardengirl , if you look at bottom picture  you can see a gap in the fence , through to the other half which is the top picture , hope that makes sense ?

the tyres have herds in and they have done really well , got rosemary , curry plant can't remember the other 2 image

GWRS, all looking very neat and tidy, you have worked hard!

Gardengirl, have ordered catalogues from suttons, T&M, kings and Sarah Raven ( looking to maybe treat myself flower wise from her site, if not too expensive)

I do get emails from Suttons re offers etc but I do like the feel of oaoer/ catalogue to browse through , am I the only one? Lol

Well I managed to get a couple of hours on the veggie garden and the central area has been rotavated  and covered over with garden plastic sheeting until next year, so pleased with that. Back to work tomorrow so not able to get anything more done til Friday afternoon. Happy gardening those of you who are able to get out there!

  • I enjoy looking though the catalogues just ordered kings one

Just thought I would look at the council site about allotments they have re done it all looks good and new info about the sites added, found the allotment site I have applied for and waiting list say 3 months not 18 months so exciting

So may not be as long as a wait as I thought

     That's good news Gardengirl image

I wonder if it's because others are giving up their plots? Apparently it happens here when rents are due for the coming year or find they can't maintain the plots for some reason.
