Hi Woo, nice to see you back. The recovery's going to be longer than I thought, the mind is willing but body not able, I'm learning to slow down though. There's been a couple of days when it's been warm enough to sit and relax in the garden and I've been able to leisurly sow seeds in the GH. The OT sent me home with seats the height of the potting bench image

Only been down to the allotment once but plan to go again this weekend, a freind is helping. Surprised how quickly seeds germinate, turnip and swede have two leaves, sunflowers and leeks are showing and sweetcorn, pea's and beans have all been pottted on today after germinating on kitchen roll.

Hi Everyone, hope you have a nice weekend, we are going to drive to Kent tonight (to clear my Dads house, as it goes on the market next weekimage) and spend some time with my sister. Having the rest of the week at home, so plan to do a bit on the plot.

Went to water there last night, radishes and turnips I sowed direct are coming to life and all the seedlings in the poly tunnel look happyimage

We've had some lovely warm weather the past two days. Went down to the plot on Saturday, in just three weekends missed, the dandilions were in full growth, now why don't veggies grow so rampantimage

The GH frame is now secure and shallots/onions/spuds planted out. Under estimated how much room was needed for the spuds. I've another row still to plant.

Spent the afternoon today, relaxing in the backgarden.

Glad you're learning to take it easy zoomer image

i got a first egg from another of my girls today, so have two out of five laying image I spend a lot of time there so have got a lot done at that plot- beetroot went in yesterday, to go with the onions, spuds, radishes and broad beans. We looked around the site yesterday and seem to have a lot more in than other people do. I don't know what to make of that!

Its been cold here this weekend image Looking forward to some nicer weather in the next few days image

And, despite our best efforts, there is bindweed everywhere image and the number of potatoes I seem to have coming up, in a bed that has been very well dug over eould outdo the supermarkets!

Lovely weather this last couple of days, toms are looking a bit happier at last, lettuce and mangetout going crazy and beans seemed to have doubled in size this week! Main potatoes have been planted, need to get beetroot planted one evening this week but working extra hrs at the moment and time is running away!

Hope you all have a good week image

Sounds like youll will soon have a production line Fruitcakeimage.

It's shorts weather here today. Germinating trays have been put outside and more seedlings have come up - toms, a courgette, a pumpkin and squash. Still nothing with two leaves though.

I've not split artichokes but bought about 12 plants from the nearly dead section at local GC last year, 4 plants have survived being moved several times from garden to lottie, and on Saturday they were spaced out better. Think there's a random one growing at the top of the plot which I've replanted, I do hope I haven't transplanted  a weed, the leaves did look the same  image.

Going to walk up to the plot today to check on the onions and shallots.
