Hi all, thank you for the welcome

nice pics there Gardengirl, I didn't sow beetroot this year but last summer I had a fab crop, they were huge. Don't know how I managed it but they were lovely , especially oven baked, yum yum.

I'm attempting to base my allotment garden on a 'potager' design, know it's gonna take a lot of time and hard work but it will be worth it.

Fruitcake, whereabouts in Bristol are you?

Rain bucketing it down , in fact forecast all week is not good

Once the mist cleared , nice day yesterday , had to prepare for a meeting today so only managed a couple of hours in the garden , did manage to put my new lawn mower together , grass needs cutting

    Happy gardening image

Woo I only bought some green manure seeds and spotted some tree stakes that were fairly cheap, then went to B&Q and found them cheaper still image
