Started seed sowing yesterday. Am trialing some of those little grow pockets. They don't swell up as big as I thought they would and I was expecting them to expand.

Been to Robinson's today the mammoth onion growers. Their onions are a tab bit expensive so bought some more chilli, pepper and aurbergine seeds. Was going to grow these with cues in the allotment GH, it's currently glassless though so that's a job to do. The varieties are tall plants so I'm hopnig for a big crop and a lush GH come Julyimage

    Your shed sounds a bargin.

Despite the forecast for rain all day, all we've had us a bit of drizzle, and now the sun is out, but I am having a well earned day off allotments today image

Hi all. Spent all day yesterday with Hubby setting up the new poly tunnel, had to level the ground as its slopes. Put a raised bed in one corner, will put the rest of what I grow in pots and on the opposite side will make some racks out of my old walk in greenhouse for seed trays. Came home tired but happyimage hot bath and a large glass of Merlot !!!image

Zoomer, I bought some seeds on line from Robinsons, lucky you to live nearby. I bought American tree spinach and Red Orache, quite unusual but tasted good, hoping they have self seeded for this year.

Lidl's bakery......I can smell it now!!!! mmmmmimage

Wow you have been busy GinaGibbs!

Mr Stagbeetle is having a minor op today so he won't be at the allotment, so will leave the kids with him whilst I pop down there.

growing toms, sunflowers, sweet peas, cowslip, verbena bonariensis, rudbeckia, small pumpkins, chitting early and main crop potatoes so far. Also bought a cheap 4 tier cold frame from wilko's.
