Does anyone use the weather forecast on here. I find it very accurate. Managed to go to the plot this morning.

Dug up some dahlia tubers, picked a few Leek's and put wire guards around the cherry trees before it started rainingimage

GWRS - can the seeds off any variety of sunflower's be eaten. My sunflowers are just going over. They still have petals but are dying back. I

GWRS, think I'll let the birds have them.

The seeds from nasturgium can be eaten. They are peppery, nice in salads. Started to clear mine today.
  • Went to my plot yesterday, I was only going to pop in for 1/2 hour.....3 hours later, I had mowed and edged all my grass paths, cut back or pulled up a lot of plants that had gone over, generally had a good tidy up.image So much for  all those indoor jobs I needed to do!!!

I'm ever so envious. Not been able to go to the plot again.

Blue sky's this morning but by the time I got home mid afternoon it was raining again. There are threatened land slides in Cumbria. Three weeks of rain fell there in one day.
