Well got my plastic walk in green house down today and packed away in some cardboard boxes, was tough getting the poles apart but now away so the wind can't damage it any more

A fee of £78 a year with a freebie dustbin. First tools Homebase spade and fork lasted about a week. Now S/J plus the rake and hoe that you can interchange. Fruitcake .Don't know what a azada is or what you do with it.
The first thing I got was a wheelbarrow as I had most tools already and luckily it came with a shed full of tools! Mostly very old and rusty do use some occasionally. I love buying gardening tools accessories so have loads.
Horse manure- do you have it on site or get it from stable? First time im manuring so looking for ideas? My local stable has a 'teletubbie' mountain and it's back breaking to get the stuff!
Hello Weyplotter. Just started my allotment bought manure from gc organic farmyard manure.I know nothing about manure but the supplier should be reported to RSPCA. Lots of plastic, bits of wood ,string, even a rock. red bags can't remember the name. .Will sort out a stable in future. Even a mountain.
Roy have a Google of azada. They make very light work of digging! They're also very good at cutting, tretching, earthing up and edging too. Not only does it make it easier on the body, it does it in less time too
I rarely use a spade now. My back thanks me after every dig!
I think ink they are essential amd that everyone should have one!

Zoomer and GWRS- thanks for all the tips, will go to Homebase/GC and generally see what's around and create rather then buy expensive staging.
Your lottie fees sound expensive? I guess the freebies make up for it. I pay £34 for a 3/4 plot inclusive of service charge.
Gardengirl your coldframe is stunning to have such talent-lucky you. They only work I've done with timber is put it around my beds!
