Garden Girl, celeriac tastes like a slightly celery flavoured parsnip, I boil them with potato to make a mash. Try one from the supermarket to see if you like the taste, they are very easy to grow but mine were not as big as the supermarket ones. Hubby loves them

My brother will be taking up his drive in the next few weeks and is giving me 50 flag stones. Half are for a shed base and to put the GH currently at home on. In between showers I've taken it down.

Ginagibbs will have to try the celeriac it sound nice though, just not sure how you would cook it will try your way
Went to the allotment for a small bit today and done a little more digging
Think Sunday will be the next time at the allotment as going to be really wet tomorrow so plant shopping it is for station baskets
Celeriac , first come across in rural France many years ago , it was grated raw in salads , is great

do they mix it with a dressing or have any other ingredients with it?
Ginagibbs , raw in a coleslaw type mix but just need to experiment to see what suits you ? Best of luck

I wonder if you can build an Arc from pallets ?
