Oh lesley and daryl, sorry to be nosey! But are you talking about the painting you was going to do of Lesley's gorgeous fuschia photograph? Can we see?
This forum is really cranky isn't it!? I haven't received Lesley's message, I can't write anything in the message box on my ipad (so have had to wind up my laptop) and I can't make the quote thing work either
Anyway, I don't want to sidetrack this camera thread with my amateur artwork so I will start a fresh one and maybe other people will contribute their garden related art work too
Not sure why I haven't looked here for a bit, probably because of lack od email notifications. Some stunning photos. Fidget's are so exotic and unusual.
We went to a French Remembrance Ceremony on the 11th. The village children letoff balloons, one for each soldier from the village who died in the Great War, 63, and it's only a small village.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Sand sculpture on the beach
El Tiede and other volcanic rocks
Unidentified fruit on a low-growing palm. Any ideas? They're about the size of large grapes.

mmm - yes - there were several of them along the beach. This one won a cup! Thanks
Ooh Steve - hankering after warmer climes now after Fidget's pics and now yours. Tiede is moonscape-like.
Lizzie - what a touching tradition and how sad a village lost so many. Thanks for sharing.
