David K, I do think you can get some really nice photo's in churchyards, some people think they are a creepy place to go, but I think they are so peaceful, I do like taking photo's there. You should post your photo's, I always love seeing what other people like taking photo's off, I think you can learn a lot from other people's photos. Your photo of The Old Chancel' is super, I love the way you have changed the colour, it really is a great photo. Love the fishing photo, my husband wishes he was do that right now
Still on the b&w theme. This, the 'Butter Cross' and 'Goat's Head Inn' located in nearby Abbots Bromley.
As many will already know, the village is noted mainly for it's annual horn dance ritual, dating back to the middle-ages. The 'Butter Cross' in the foreground dates back to the 13th/14th centuries and was so named because of the produce sold beneath it.

Steve 309, stunning shots, such a great view.
That is a great photo Fairygirl.
Wondered if it was the Lakes Steve - knew it wasn't Scotland - hard to explain the difference - it's just a feel. Gorgeous views
I love that pic of the church David. There's something quite special about churches of that quality.
Thanks Lorna - it was a nice spot for lunch - before the weather closed in and it was vile!
This is the scrambly bit on Ben Donich - taken a couple of weeks ago.
First you go down
then up
it's an interesting little quirk on the hill
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Local beauty spot in winter.....I think black & white works well for this type of shot.
I've enjoyed looking back at all the photos.
Black & white does look great for that winter shot David.
More lichens pics please
