Pottie Pam. I would love to see Chapel Rock with a Christmas tree on! We've had some fantastic family holidays there. You are very lucky to live in such a wonderful location.
Even if the photos are just snapshots I enjoy looking at them months later and seeing how it was. This, of a garden in Stratford-upon-Avon, looks really bright now in November, it was July 2011. Oh bother, the oak tree say "service unavailable". Will try again in a new post.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thank you I have looked again and again and could not find your answer although it was notifying me on my snail
fairy girl - love the snowy shots.....lets hope we get some more snow up in the mountains this year!
Chocolate Cosmos:
Nikki- we don't need to wait for winter- this is near the summit of Nevis, taken a few years back - in early July!
That's the gully that people don't know is there if they go up in snow - they walk across the summit from the arrete on the far side and fall down it.
On a cheerier note - this is the grotto in the Boboli gardens in Florence!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy girl - Ben Nevis is a mountain I have never walked on....but if I do I will watch out for the gully!
David - love the cosmos!
The humble marigold:
Still flowering in my garden.
