It's so tall! A real beauty! Lucky you !

when I lived in Australia a bowl of soup was often served with an autumn leaf under it. Eg a chestnut leaf under chestnut soup, scarlet acer under pumpkin   So effective

I liked this scene for technical reasons i.e. the flow of the land etc.

Lovely. So do I David.  Most of our plants are not deciduous, so it's nice to see those ones.

There's something rather beautiful about fallen leaves isn't there David? Never tire of that. I noticed the sycamore in my old garden was looking really beautifully golden the other day. I should have taken a pic  -the wind and rain last night have probably blown most of them off but I'll take a look later if I remember.

Another sheep pic - he was a great little model!

He was quite bold David. Seemed to enjoy having his pic taken image

I've now foiled the starlings. The great tit was enjoying his grub earlier - once he'd figured out how to get in. Had to stick a cane in for a perch for him - he's not as nimble as the others..image

DAVIDK.  Lovely shots David.   Have you been 'up' the Chase ?  image

The last few I've posted have been taken around the Chase or Shugborough. Rb.
