when I lived in Australia a bowl of soup was often served with an autumn leaf under it. Eg a chestnut leaf under chestnut soup, scarlet acer under pumpkin So effective
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
There's something rather beautiful about fallen leaves isn't there David? Never tire of that. I noticed the sycamore in my old garden was looking really beautifully golden the other day. I should have taken a pic -the wind and rain last night have probably blown most of them off but I'll take a look later if I remember.
Another sheep pic - he was a great little model!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
He was quite bold David. Seemed to enjoy having his pic taken
I've now foiled the starlings. The great tit was enjoying his grub earlier - once he'd figured out how to get in. Had to stick a cane in for a perch for him - he's not as nimble as the others..

I liked this scene for technical reasons i.e. the flow of the land etc.
Lovely. So do I David. Most of our plants are not deciduous, so it's nice to see those ones.
Thanks, Pat......this is another taken in the same location.
I loved your kola/eucalyptus/azure blue sky shot.

DD What is this world if, full of care,
we have no time to stand and stare?..... Take every moment you can get.

The last few I've posted have been taken around the Chase or Shugborough. Rb.
