Glad you liked it Snow. I'm still amazed that it is stillimage alive and kicking with all the neglect.

For anyone who may be interested, this is an old church with an interesting history dating back to the 12th century, located near to my home town.......Although unused & derelict, it's carefully maintained by the council.

PS. It's called 'The Old Chancel'.

Lorna - that's beautiful. I love churchyards. I know people often find them a bit depressing or scary - I expect I did at one time - but I love them. They're so calm and quiet  image

I love BL's view as well. So pretty.

Lovely - but put us out our misery Steve image

taken on the approach to the 2nd summit on Beinn a' Ghlo ( I won't put the full name of that particular hill - it's a bit of a mouthful!)  in Blair Atholl

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

OK - the first one is a view of Ambleside and the surrounding hills (including the Langdale Pikes in the distance.  taken from halfway up Wansfell.  The second is of the Langdale Pikes and environs from the top.  Summer 2014.
