Lovely LilyPimage.  Your planting looks good - is that a bud on your poppy?  Love the reddish grass too but (as usual) the wall is the starimage.

Gorgeous autumn colours little-Ann, especially the last oneimage.  Where were they taken?

    Gorgeous pix girls! image

Garden's looking beautifully autumnal now LP. That wall's so lovely - I'm very envious of that  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thank you little-Ann, lucky you, it looks amazingimage.  I've seen it on tv but it's never quite the same as being able to visitimage.

  • Lovely pictures of autumn colour, a lovely season especially if you get a dry sunny day. I took this one this afternoon (any excuse to 'take a moment'). image

little- anne. Lovely! I adore the blue spruce, at least I think that's what it is!

thanks for comments about wall.... Any time you like you are all more than welcome to come and aid the restoration!.  A section falls down every six months.  When we bought the property we never thought of checking the outside, buttress after buttress image

DD I adore these anemones, perfect for dull corners and once established do so well

is the tree Joseph Rock? Or a sycamore ?

Oh sorry Lesley, yes there is a bud. It was a cutting of an existing salmon pink double frilled one from another part of the garden. Did well so I cut it back to the base after flowering to establish good roots. Looks like it worked I won't let it flower tho, too late!

i have never been to Harlow Carr, on my bucket list looks lovely
