Very autumnal and misty here, but I still intend to plant those bulbs I didn't get around to planting yesterday cos it got dark... Got to collect autumn leaves first, for the U3A art group this morning.
Jo, I agree with Clari. The agent needs to know what sort of person they're employing - that sounds like threatening behaviour to me.
Lizzie, good to hear your old pooch is doing a little better
Hard luck to those suffering from arthritic knees, hips etc - getting older can be a bit of a pain in the whatsit...
Have a good day, folks!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
GWRS he's been given a box of fish oil capsules by our friend ( with whom he lodges ) and the doc says he can take up to 8 paracetamol a day, so he's going to try the fish oil, plus 2 paracetamol in the morning and see how it goes.
I had a dodgy Renault once, I was on TV about, with Lyn Fowldes Wood, was it Watchdog, back in mid eighties.
Pouring with rain here, can't even get up to greenhouses, grass all slippery, steps wet, too much!!
Probably sort out next years seeds,....again.... Bagged up the one I pinched from Hosta's poly tunnels yesterday. Also the Phlomis that just fell into my pocket at Rosemoor yesterday.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Had to do an early dog walk and get to the dentist by 9am then SM. I'm ready for bed now.
Panda congrats to OH on his new job. It's all change in your household
Glad to hear you had a lovely holiday Topbird and belated Happy Birthday to you. You took the words out of my mouth regarding DD's OH. The stress has to get out somehow.
Lizzie I'm glad your dog has been better overnight. Good luck at the quiz.
Jo the others have given sensible advice and you should let the estate agents know. The reason he doesn't want you to phone is that it might flag up his unreliability. Hope everything gets sorted today and you won't need to have them back.
Hope the kitchen does get finished today Wonky and that Harrie forgives you. I imagine Flatters is in his shed is he?
Sorry to hear about your OH's knees Hosta. As Liri said getting older is a pain in the whatsit - well lots of whatsits actually.

Hosta.....Did the doctor recommend OH to take the fish oil capsules, with any stomach problems you have to be careful of them!

Hello everyone. Jo I hope you can handle the bully. Hate things like that.
I'm a bit tired tonight - have been trying to get house cleaned up for our visitors on Friday. I dont know why I worry, but can't help it.
I'll get back to indivual posts tomorrow. I always do better early in the morning, so best wishes to all til then. By the way our weather today - there was a rotten cold wind all day and we've got the fire going again. The prediction for tomorrow is 2c - 17c. We can't seem to get the season right.
Oh and also, a walk down to the orchard today revealed the Apricot has bacterial canker. Not happy! This tree is only a couple of years old and we've not had any diseases here before. The other worry is that I've got cherry trees nearby and now they are at risk. I need to think about this. There is young fruit on the tree, so I'm not sure whether to try to wait until the fruit is ready in January of to take action now. Think! Think!
Hello folks - I'm back - car is now at Renault main deal for diagnostics as soon as they can fit it into their schedule. Hope mine doesn't need a new seat loom - the car's ten years old - it would probably cost more than it's worth
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dreadful behaviour jo. Don't put up with that. He's lucky you didn't tell him where to shove his angle grinder...sideways. I'm sure there's a higher authority you can also report him to - if he's registered Gas safe - governing body of that?
Hosta - knees are a nightmare when they don't work so well. Painkillers might be the best solution - I know my mum was told to take them for her arthritis - but I'd hate to have to take those regularly
On the plus side - I like your new avatar
How is your foot now Lesley?
Glad you had a good time and a nice birthday T'bird - and a bonus having good weather.
Re all W'song's activities - wonder what she's doing the rest of the day.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

How does that happen? Managed to get a posting between BL and Dove & neither were there when I started typing.
BL - One of my offending cars was a Renault...
