Good morning all image G'day Pat image

I'm sure we'll all still find time for a chat Pat, even with the time difference image

It's 6.15am and around 4C here at the moment Pat, and the skies are just getting light here.  The forecast is for a dry and bright day so hopefully I'll get the rest of those outside jobs done today. image

We've had about mid 20s today I think.  It was good being outside but now I feel a bit uncomfortable . I don't handle heat very well. The house is hot and no breeze, but once the sun goes down, it'll cool off. It IS nice to have the doors open for a change, though. image

  • Morning all,

Evening meal went well in the end last night, lovely friendly people, brothers and sisters (&OH's) from different parts of France that meet up for a day out and a meal 2 or 3 times a year. Lot of family banter and they very much appreciated my take on French cooking (phew). image

Off to guide my newly formed jogging club this morning, a group of 'mature' ladies who can't manage the running club pace but want to do something. The plan is 10 minute warm up, 20 minute slow jog and then 10 minute cool down and stretch. Will be odd to be at the front of the group, normally I am at the back desperately trying to keep up with the sprinters. image

Then it is back to gardening, finally got some compost for my winter tubs of bulbs and pansies. image

Have a good day all. image

Morning all and afties Pat image

That's ok Jo - I've still a few bits to collect. I'd like to get it all away this week as I've had some cheques for a while. Total's up over £360 now. The girl at work still has to give me cash from her family so I'm trying to chivvy her along with that too, although if she just tells me the amount, I'll do a cheque to cover it so that I can  send it all. Hoping to have over £400.

Heading to the Pentlands to walk today - wonder if Pudsey wants to come with me...image Too much rain, sleet or snow further north.

Off for a quick catch up here while I have a cuppa

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

You sneaked in at the same time as me DD. Are you taking OH with you on the jog?  image
