Back from the dentist - survived but soup for dinner tonight I think - 4 injections top and bottom - ouch. And, same again next Monday.
Clarington. love the tent, I hope it lasts.
Frank, at least you will get your money's worth from the table with your super lunches.
Time for a snuggle under my blanket and feel sorry for myself again but the i*****g is all done.
I believe a new series of Silent Witness is on tonight, not seen it for years but might give it a go. Have a nice evening all and those back from first day at work hope it went well for you - nearly Friday.

Here is my Pooh dahlia, love it, quite tall. I have left it in the ground since 2013 and it has come up in the 2 summers since, bushier each time. It is a well drained bed.
I feel better as my sinuses don't ache nearly so much today. Have started making the sitting room curtains for our cottage in Norfolk. Hope to take them when we go next week, if there is room in the case.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I'm trying to limit the time I spend here, or I wouldn't get anything else done... we retired people have a lot of calls on our time, eh GWRS? Congrats on the first day of the rest of your life!
Lizzie, pretty is fine by me... Gorgeous dahlia.
DD, make sure you have a proper rest this time. You have to get over the dentist visit as well as the lurgy. Never mind rude OHs and their remarks about man flu...
The local appeal for the victims of the Boxing Day flooding has now passed £300,000. A friend whose cellar flooded, told me she was overwhelmed by the number of people coming round, knocking on her door with pumps, fans, dehumidifiers, food etc (her electricity was off for 50 hours). The local Methodist church and Town Hall are full of beds for homeless folk, with volunteers cooking donated food for them. A number of caravans have been driven over the Pennines from a caravan club in the west, to use as emergency accommodation for homeless families. The kindness of random people is amazing.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Edd next time it might be for the best if you leave the meat and two veg for the dinner table.
But not that meat and two veg. Scalding hot gravy will do it no favours!
Glad to see you back posting after your spell on the naughty step!
Edd apology accepted. Although something else upset me more.
You can come off the naughty step now.

Lizzie, lovely colours, very pretty.
Hope you feel better before your trip to Norfolk.
Hi Runny, glad son doing well, sending very best wishes to him.
