No brekkie in bed for me but OH did get up bright and early to leave me with he whole of the bed to stretch in Will be getting up shortly to make tea and toast
Glad we all survived last night. My placcie greenhouse cover has finally given up the ghost What started out as a couple of reparable holes is now a great rent across the roof. I do appreciate though that this is nothing compared to the damage others have
Hope Punkdoc made it through the night ok.
Dove, hope you enjoyed your first bus pass moment. I assume this is a young persons pass as you're only 26
Tasks for today . . . planting my snowdrops getting my claws done (what colour this time?), sourcing a new cover for the greenhouse and wondering whether to get OH something for Valentines
Plan B here, nothing drastic but need to replace curved piece of perspex on metal GH & try and make wooden GH a bit more stable, it has to come down and be replaced in spring but need it at the minute. Panda sorry about your little GH.
oh dear, any one help me? It's my brother's 60th next sunday (bit late planning for this). He started a rose garden last year (which I'm ashamed to say I haven't yet seen). I thought I'd get him a rose for his birthday so went on David Austin site but far too expensive for me! Thinking of only spending £20 including postage. Are GC roses ok at this time of year? Any other suggestions? I suppose I should start a new thread really but hoping you lot can help. please.
Hi MrsGarden, you might duplicate what he already has. How about a book about roses, not so much about technique( if he's well clued up) but pictures, at least he could look at it in the winter. My best idea, dunno if it will come in budget. Will keep thinking.
