Wine first while I am cooking tea and awaiting my OH returning from work. Then later whilst sat in front of TV, probably watching fridays Jules Holland, a box of chocolates would be lovely [ dark for me with cherries and kirsch, or ginger, or if Im honest anything at all ]
Hoping for better weather as I need to get dahlias and cannas up.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Punkdoc, just need raincoat and wellies for dalias and cannas, not good weather! Dont think my cannas are ready to be dug up yet, I usually let them blacken off first????
Never seen PLs here, but we get Peacocks - which are not unusual, but very pretty. Mrs G - glad all is calm. Panda - sorry you had some damage. OH came home early and put trellis back in place, so we are once again deer proofed.
Chocolates - yes please!
Told Mr Chicky he was in demand - he is now strutting round with his chest puffed out. Expecting the equivalent of "cockadoodledoo" any second now. The welding machine was originally bought to "glue" back together various bits of his ancient landrover - but is proving to have very useful ancillary purposes
