Not looking good for the greenhouse, think me and son number 1 are just going to have to attempt it.  Phoned up for a quote for fitting and £150 is the cheapest!!  Just blinking marvellous image

Awww.....that's a blow, Tracey.   image Wished I lived nearer, I would offer to help.

Aww Tracey that's a shame. I can't remember where you live else I'd come over to help you.

Fidget, will send you a PM, thanks x BTW, I agree with the others, and will add that I think an iron would also be too dangerous!! image

Well, the sun has come out image Clearly I've been a good girl image

Tracey, I hope you get it up soon (snigger!) I do mean it sincerely, but realised it sounded a bit rude! Sorry image

I was going to say something in reply to that Panda...along the lines of, if I don't neither will.......I'll leave it there image

Thank you all, you're so kind and have cheered me up, me and my big boy will manage.

By the way, I don't actually live in Blackpool but my info insists on keep changing to say I do!!! I live close enough to get to the beach though image

    Fidget, it's a Rosa Bonica

    Dovefromabove wrote (see)

..... I've just ordered one of my favourite roses http://www.classicroses.co.uk/products/roses/bonica/ for the sunnier end of the Shady Bank, outside the dining room window - I've grown this rose in two other gardens and it's been a delight each time - it's only failing is that it's scent is slight - but it'll be growng near a clump of Sweet Rocket and some honeysuckle - I've been trying to find a better rose for that spot, but it's got them all beat!  It flowers all summer long and is the prettiest thing.  Beautiful for cutting too image Although it's described as a ground cover rose it can reach over a metre in height and as the bank is at least a couple of feet high that'll be perfect.  As it's replacing a very old scarlet climber that was here when we moved in, I've ordered a containerised one to give it every chance - I've also dug in a big pile of FYM so it should be fine. image

Should be here in 10 - 14 days says the email, but as they're only a few miles down the road maybe it'll be sooner than that image
