Glad you're ok fidget. I'd stay away from hoovers for now...and all other items that have any weight...ladders...hedgetrimmers.....pots and pans....dusters...cloths....
Kettles are ok
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lol edd how funny!!!!! I too have had a slug attack lady night a few lupin leaves left scattered and I'm sure an echinecea that was sprouting has gone!!! Never mind more we shall have to go for a coffee and get some used grounds later!!!
It's ok Verdun, I've not left the rosebush in it's box - I've carefully unwrapped it - how's that for a beautifully healthy rose bush!!! Well done Peter Beales' Classic Roses!!!
Stacey, a coffee would be lovely - make a big pot
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
There's the proof Dove - always go to reliable growers/nurseries/suppliers if you want a decent product. Money well spent.
Going out soon to get compost and a new cover for one of my growhouse - a casualty of the wild weather at the end of the year! I will try very hard not to let anything fall into the trolley....they did have some native prims which were very cheap last time I was there though. Never really buy plants at the GC - only seeds or if they have a sale.

I've had a quick flick round with the hand held dyson. Its only good for 10 mins on one charge, so thats that. Some seeds to sow I think. Now I'm going to have more hardening off room......
Panda, your scatter patch... if you PM me your address I can send you some seeds to scatter left over from the seeds I collected last year. Otherwise they're going in the geurilla patch next door. I shoved some rose cuttings in, when the builders went home the other night.
Not looking good for the greenhouse, think me and son number 1 are just going to have to attempt it. Phoned up for a quote for fitting and £150 is the cheapest!! Just blinking marvellous
