I don't know what the ' sad bit ' is about sgl.....just that there is a ' sad bit', so nothing has been really spoilt for me.
Mind you Aled Jones made a comment on Classic FM on Saturday, but maybe I heard wrong........surely not!!
All will soon be revealed.
I remember, years ago, taking the brood up to London to see a Star Wars expedition. Brilliant! They had all the original plans ,set models and costumes. We have photos of the kids wearing some of the ( rubber?) head masks of some of the weird alien creatures. In a darken corner you could hear 'breathing 'and as you got closer you could see the towering figure (costume only) of Darth Vader...... scary... he was sooooo tall and intimidating!!
Must go and get ready .....the ' force' awaits me!
Just read back a couple of pages. How kind of folk to think of us.
The weather the first two days has not been great. 20C yesterday but I've just checked and it's heading up to 27C then settling down to 25C for a bout 10 days.
Hubby doing a bit of laundry so I'm catching up then we're heading out for some sun.
Hotel is fine, but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many horrid Russians. ( why have they no manners? )
Hoping they head home now Christmas / New Year is over and the hotel quitenens down a bit.
Tried to check on BBC, What's the flood situation?
Glad you're there safe Hosta! I hope you can start to relax soon.
Dove: I've seen parents in dressing gowns walking past the house taking children to school. Normally we don't see night attire on the first day, it usually takes three or four days before standards slip and routines fall to bits. Mind you Facebook and Twitter is full of people struggling and moaning so maybe the offices are full of odd shoes and tooth paste stains.
Took my mug of tea and climbed back into bed. Allergies mean I can't even motivate myself with having breakfast at Ikea so all I have to hope for is good traffic and a strawberry milkshake when I'm finished!

Sorry to hear things are really bad still, Fairygirl. I can't believe how long it has been going on.
we're happy to get our bit of rain.
Morning all.
Got to the hotel 24 hours late due the the flight "incident" and they'd cancelled our room.
They agreed to re-instate it for one night until they received confirmation from UK. It came yesterday, so we can not relax.
Haven't had time to read back. Hope everyone is ok.
If anything major has happened, maybe someone might message me.
Love to all.
Hi Hosta
Oh dear
hardly a relaxing start to your holidays! Hope things improve from now on ((hugs))
