Lily, was Star Wars, the new one - was really rather good, but contained a moment when I went - won't say what it was, don't want to spoil it! Although I nearly went like that when my friend told me how much the tickets cost
Well DIY is proving quite the disaster today. Plaster has fallen off bits it shouldn't and we cracked several tiles. But I'm being sent alone (agh) to Ikea (eep) tomorrow for the light fittings (decisions!!)
Ikea is worse than the sin bin in garden centres for me. So many lights and bright colours and fun things I really want.
I watched Sherlock with my partner last night who hasn't seen any other Sherlock .... it took some explaining but I loved it!
I brushed the dust off the raincoat and ventured out to the rain gauge - wow.
- 67.5 mm.
Hubby went and parked his ute outside to get it washed - a first. Then he cleared out one of the contour bank lines to re-direct the flow away from the back of the garage.. It's all happening here.
The contour bank below the house as filled up. That'll flow down to the river which could do with a good flush out. We'll probably get dead trees clogging up the flow of the river though, so a job for some to clean up.
Good morning all G'day Pat That really is a lovely view
Today is the day when we venture into the city to buy OH's Christmas present (clothes). It will involve coffee at Carluccio's and probably lunch somewhere as well
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'm not sure if the schools go back today, or whether the city will be full of parents and children ......... I like children ........... but only one or two at a time and not when they and their parents are getting fractious with each other

My OH has seen Star Wars with sons. They all enjoyed it too. Think I know what bit made you go
