Dove, not sure what it'll be like with you but up here some schools are going back today the rest tomorrow.

Why am I the one getting up early to attend to the dig and make the tea? His lordship is the one who needs to leave the house early! (Dog has curled up on the bed and gone straight to sleep).

Wow Pat when it rains with you it really rains!  I hope some is soaking in.

So do I Clari. A lot has run down the hill, but we're on shale so it does move down through the gaps etc. hopefully we'll manage to hold some of it.

    Hi all.

More heavy rain, now been continuous for over 48 hours. Kept awake by noise of the stream, which is now a raging torrent.

I love kids Dove, but I can't eat more than one!

Need to go and buy some stuff for holiday, so that should get me thinking sunny thoughts.

Good luck to all the returning workers.

Morning/afties all. Hope the rain gives you a bit of relief Pat.

Work for me doc image How is your MIL getting on? Things are pretty desperate round and in Ballater. I don't hold out much hope for Abergeldie castle down at the Balmoral end of the A93. A chap on the walking site I use, lives just behind it and posted on Saturday about the state of it after people posted pix of the non existent road further up.  I think it was on the national news earlier.

Hope you have a nice trip Dove. Our schools go back tomorrow or Wednesday.

Very dark here - hope it brightens up a bit. Have a good day everyone - stay warm and dry image

  • Morning all, hope all is good with you today.

Hubs has just left for work and I'm enjoying my breckie in bed that he brought up to me before he went ( who me ....spoilt!)

I'm off later to see Star Wars ......can't wait! Just so that I was prepared  I have managed to watch all of the previous ones again in their proper order over the hols. Bit concerned about the sad bit Panda, I still get upset over Yoda's departure!  Note to self - box of tissues in bag.

    Have a good day x
