I've tried to hack back the wisteria to see if it can be saved from the planned building work. Unfortunately I think it is going to have to be completely removed
Rb - really sorry to hear about your OH's accident. Hope he's feeling a bit more comfortable after his lunch and that you don't worry too much if he has a snooze
DD glad your OH is closer and that you'll be welcoming him back soon. You're amazing with how you cope. There is no way I would have taken on a last minute booking. Hope your cake did the trick and you try not to think 'what if?'.
Back to the mundane with SM done, housework done and now the garden.
Pardon fidget
Jo it's a really hard life in the valley when they send children and dogs out to work
Having a quick cuppa before heading back out, but just wanted to add to the comments re Mr DD. My recent ex went through the same six years ago. Late one night, sudden pains down the left side, turned a horrible shade of grey - textbook stuff. Next thing, we're en route to hospital with paramedics and my youngest in tow, as I couldn't leave her on her own. He'd just turned 50. Six weeks later we were back climbing Munros.
I'll never forget the fear and panic, but these things do remind us of how lucky we are when we have our health, and also how lucky we are to have doctors and hospital stuff to help us get through it. It sounds like he's going to be fine
Yes Verd - you've taken it too far....
At my last house, a squirrel ran across the grass from the driveway, and, not realising the ( rather deep) pond was in front of him, dropped off the edge and fell in. He managed to compose himself and do that cartoon thing of running across the top of the water to the bank to clamber out. Hilarious to watch though!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
