It's very annoying Lyn - you're right. Have they given any indication as to good or bad news with your knee Hostie? Or do you just have to put up and shut up...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
My Mum had a CT scan two weeks ago and after two cancelled follow up appointments she now has one for 26th January. Hopefully that means there is nothing drastically wrong but what a long time to wait.
What's even worse is when it's someone older like Lesley's Mum. We don't treat the elderly with respect in this country. It's shameful. I know it's an impossible task to divide up resources but elderly people deserve better.

I'm a huge fan of the NHS, but the trouble is, we're all guilty of wanting, expecting, even demanding more, but how many of us have written to our MPs to offer to pay more tax in order to get more?

fairygirl. I had the mri scan done my knee on Tuesday and no follow up appointment until the 29th.
What is annoying is that if you go private you can get the results tomorrow.

"until we see the results, it's pure conjecture" hey ho.
The waiting is always the worst part

It's discusting Leslie, and set to get worse.
I can't see it getting better anytime soon Lyn
. It seems to be shortage of staff rather than anything else and no money to train/employ more.
