Have a lovely day W'song - you've worked so hard recently with the house, so take the time to enjoy it. I remember when youngest was four, we were getting towards the end of the extension we were doing. I finally had room to have all the family at mine for Christmas dinner, and although the new lounge wasn't decorated, we had the tree done and all the fairy lights up, and at about midnight, I was putting makeshift curtains up and it started snowing. It just seemed perfect and we had a lovely family gathering
jo - what is wrong with workmen? Doesn't it ever occur to them to notify people of their intentions - or do they simply not give a flying **** about anybody?
I'm hoping to send a little Christmas cheer to everyone on Christmas Eve with a little something I've done....hope you'll all enjoy it

Hello everyone, we've been to Canberra today for Hubby to see the eye specialist again and not long back. Am worn out from sitting in the passenger seat all day.
Weather cool and overcast - much preferred to heatwave and clear skies.
We're expecting our son and his 2 cats tomorrow for a few days and then our daughter on 24th for Christmas dinner. Should be good.

Lily, to avoid any Christmas spoilers, I didn't watch it. I've saved it and will watch after Dec 25th.
