Afternoon now! I'd hoped to get some primulas last year after moving here, but nursery had none left when I went. They're so beautiful - subtle, as you say Verd - but tough as old boots. They'll fit well with my other 'shady' plants along the back fence and will be lovely to look at from the house when I'm desperate for winter to end. Yours must be a lovely sight when they flower pd
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It is starting to get a bit chilly outside, but at least a small patch is now looking like a garden rather than the site of some WW1 battle. It has been so nice to spend time out there doing stuff, and at the same time planning for the year ahead.
Cup of coffee I think and then may manage another hour before bath.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
The sun's made a brief appearance here but it's very cold. Won't be tackling any real gardening here for a while. I now have a gleaming bathroom and must go and do hoovering etc before getting some food shopping
Phoned ins co and hoping to get my car repaired through them as it's going to be around £300. Just have to check with claims dept tomorrow that the repairer I went to for the quote is one they use. Fingers crossed.
Cup of tea now

I've just taken a couple of pics of two of my hellebores and put them on Camera Corner - they're looking gorgeous at the moment
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Dove that's what I've been doing.
My primulas
Looks drier in your garden than in mine KEF - think I'd be getting rid of those dead primula leaves - they'll just attract them there slugs
