Thanks for moral support Fairy and Lesley. Yes it takes a bit of getting used to, but life goes on.

Hello to others with children and bosses  doing things set to try us. Been there and done that with the kids (3 of them), but it does get better. My best fun is seeing them now going through the same things I went through. (Not very nice, I know, but fun anyway). My youngest daughter has a 16 year old son who keeps losing bus passes, mobile phones, denture brace thingies, etc. etc.  it drives her crazy! image

Morning all, up early today for a doctors appt, back home now with a cuppa.  It's a bit chilly today, not sure if it will warm up enough to tempt me out into the garden.

Sorry to hear about your disturbed nights Snoodle, I remember those days well, hope little one feels better soon.

Chin up Pat, it must be hard not to see your grandson often.

Well done Wonky, sounds like you have been busy, basements are not a natural environment for a gardener.

Not planned anything for today going to curl up on the sofa and keep my cold to myself I think.

Pouring with rain here in nice sunny warm Devon....not!

looks like another quick nip to the greenhouse then maybe bit of the dreaded HW.

too wet to get out to feed the birds, must find winter gardening coat.

I expect Hostas day will be the same.

Strange things in the evening news tonight. California has dreadful fires. our Prime Minister has been challenged by some of his team. It's going to take over the rest of the viewing tonight if I'm not more selective. Just as well the second episode of X factor will be on. image
