Morning all....pages and pages to read back since I came up from the basement yesterday! Going to have to catch up with all your news later
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
Got lots done, removed all damp things from basement, all rubbish, bits of junk furniture etc, swept damp soil etc from floor, chipped mouldy plaster from walls....gonna be a high job! The lads earned their roast lamb though and dadnt leave a scrap!
Hope everyone has a good day, all those that are feeling Ill, recover soon! All those that need one...help yourselves to hugs!
Thanks for moral support Fairy and Lesley. Yes it takes a bit of getting used to, but life goes on.
Hello to others with children and bosses doing things set to try us. Been there and done that with the kids (3 of them), but it does get better. My best fun is seeing them now going through the same things I went through. (Not very nice, I know, but fun anyway). My youngest daughter has a 16 year old son who keeps losing bus passes, mobile phones, denture brace thingies, etc. etc. it drives her crazy!
Morning all, up early today for a doctors appt, back home now with a cuppa. It's a bit chilly today, not sure if it will warm up enough to tempt me out into the garden.
Sorry to hear about your disturbed nights Snoodle, I remember those days well, hope little one feels better soon.
Chin up Pat, it must be hard not to see your grandson often.
Well done Wonky, sounds like you have been busy, basements are not a natural environment for a gardener.
Not planned anything for today going to curl up on the sofa and keep my cold to myself I think.
Strange things in the evening news tonight. California has dreadful fires. our Prime Minister has been challenged by some of his team. It's going to take over the rest of the viewing tonight if I'm not more selective. Just as well the second episode of X factor will be on.
