Hello all. Just on to thank everyone here for your friendship, advice and support throughout the past ten months. 2013 was a difficult year for me but having you all to 'talk' to has helped more than you'll ever know. Special thanks to those of you that cared enough to message me when I was absent for a while recently - you know who you are.
When I watch the news, it reminds me of what a fragile little thread we all hang by, and how fortunate I am, so, although it's a few hours early, I'm raising my glass (well - my mug of tea ) to my little virtual forum family, including those who are no longer here or have been absent for a while. May you all have a Peaceful, Prosperous and Happy New Year, and the good health to enjoy your gardens.
Here's to 2014
Love to each and every one of you xxx
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi all, they allow me to use my iPhone in hospital so just a line to say all went very well. Had my knee op at 08.30 hrs this morning and Eileen brought my phone in after we checked it's OK. A happy and prosperous new year to everyone. John H
Glad to hear it went well John - you'll be raring to go when spring arrives
Fg ((hugs))
And Happy New Year to all of you - you are a smashing lot
I can't think of better words than Fairy's so with unashamed plagiarism I'd like to say, "May you all have a Peaceful, Prosperous and Happy New Year, and the good health to enjoy your gardens." xxx
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Happy New Year all - there'll be fireworks all around us too - at the golf club and the university as well as down at the Guide and Scout Adventure place - so we'll look out of the window
But for now we're going to watch Chris Packham on BBC 2 Nature's Weirdest Events - then the Tudor Monastery Farm ....... so good night and sweet dreams folks See you next year
