Afternoon all, just having a sneaky glass of white in the garden before dinner (aubergine parmigiani - all garden produce ).
Thank you to all the birthday wishes for Charlie, he has had a lovely day doing all the things he is not normally allowed to do bless him - staying in his pjs until noon, playing on computer games, bacon butty whilst watching tv. which was a 'big boy' movie, Captain America or some such thing. Works out well because back to school tomorrow so an easy day will do him the world of good after such a hectic summer.
WW sorry to hear about your migraine, don't suffer often but I know how horrible they are.
Have to share this as it amused me today, probably not the same in the telling but here goes; Saw two English men in the supermarket earlier, obviously on their home turf they would be considered 'cool/trendy' I suppose. In a supermarket in France though they were struggling a little bit but the pair of them oozed body language that was in denial of the fact that they were like fish out of water, they were chatting loudly about all sorts, exchanging smart remarks, eyes were everywhere except on the people around them, God forbid a French person might speak to them. Couldn't decide who they were trying to fool, each other or everyone else in the shop who wouldn't have cared anyway. Brownie points to them both though for attempting the shopping, hopefully a set of wives were grateful for that.
Ok dinner time, enjoy your evening all.

That sounds like a bizzee day Verdun Glad Spike's ok - don't either of you go catching a chill now! You'd better have a tot or three of something medicinal and Spike needs a nice warm hottie bottle to snuggle up with in his basket
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hugs Wonky hope your back to normal after wee lie doon .
sky has just turned black, think the storm is on its way and as per in rural france, the lecy is bound to go off and on till it stops plus sky stops working lol BUT if/ when lecy is on, i can always watch things on the smart tv via youtube, so thats something. Time to get my dogs in and batten down what needs doing outside .
Just read up on it - it happened two years ago - the case was in court today. The man has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic He's been sent to jail. I hope he gets the treatment he needs.
