Local geography now duly improved and you are absolutely right on the Sleaford front
Hubby is ok thanks - we are just a bit edgy after the chest pains/hospital dash at the weekend (well he is edgy, I am trying not to be, but not sure I will be getting too many Oscar nominations for my performance) . Good news is that we heard today that the second op has been brought forward a week - so only 2 and a bit more weeks to wait. Thinking positive thoughts, and hope we will be well on the road to recovery by the time you return with your golden tan
Oooo - I know the Cricketers - pass it if I take littlest Chicklet to college rather than making her get the train. Next time I'll slow down and give its lawn a good looking at - I'm sure its not as good as it was in your day. Great cycling country round there - love that bit of North Hampshire.....and its even better since noone else seems to really know its there
Yummy dinner Dove & interesting finds / emails for others!
Glad you had a good day Runny. Thanks for the heads up about Jodrell. Have just spoken to OH & we have decided to put it on the list of places to try & visit next year. Maybe in the summer when we can picnic in the gardens.
Were there any school trips today? Try to avoid kiddies en masse whenever possible!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

OMG @ Bordon being mentioned .
I think Country Market is , technically, in Sleaford.
Off to Pedants' Corner once more.
Didn't even know there was a Sleaford round there
. Off to investigate google maps

I used to cut the grass at the New Inn for many , many years, now flats/ houses at the crossroads/ trafic lights to Alton.
I think Sleaford was just the pub, CM and the mushroom farm heading up to Headley Park
How's hubby Chicky? If I may ask.
