Pat that's very interesting, there may be hope for some of my old pkts of long forgotten seeds!!
I'm having a quiet day at home today instead of spending the day with my Dad, which I do every Monday. Would hate to pass on ' my bugs' to him, being 90 it could cause him more serious problems that it could to us ' young ones'
Hubs brought me up a breakfast tray + painkillers before he left for work, after dosing myself up I will venture outside to hang out the washing and then find a permanent home for my poor Hellebores. That's the plan for this morning then maybe a quiet afternoon watching a film.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable Monday.......gosh we are into February already!!
It does seem a long one for mrs doc. I only have a ten minute commute to work now. I found that pressure in the morning very difficult. I love Shetland doc. 'Quietly' different
Dark and wild out there - that's winter. At least we only technically have another month of it and then it's the spring months...warmth and growth and tee shirts. Well, a lighter weight jacket perhaps
Interesting spam this morning
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Too stuffed up, no one would understand me...,have a good day all
Morning Wonky ((hugs)) Take some Vitamin C tablets!!! OH will say you caught the cold on the train Go on, get out there and spread it about a bit - pass it on to someone else and get rid of it.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Yes Flowers and Fairy, I'm feeling much better, thanks.
When Hubby has finished downloading the Voice, I'm planning on posting a photo of the plants from my old seeds that I germinated a few months ago. Our internet can't handle two things at once.
Pinch, Punch. Where did January go? The last 2 weeks whizzed by!
Best wishes to Mrs Pdoc in her new job, hope all goes well. Safe journey.
We're watching Shetland too. And Jerico, War and Peace and Dickensian. Good tv on at the moment. Ooh and Lucky Man. Plus there's a new one starting soon, can't remember the name but it's a John le Carre book.
Glad you're feeling better Pat, take care.
Wonks, hope you feel better soon, you haven't long got over a cold......or have I got muddled up.
Safe journey Chicky.
Panda, have a good day at work.
Nanny beach, I've had an email to say you have sent me a PM, really sorry but still can't see or send PM's on this tablet.
Hope you all have a good day, take care the forecast for later is horrendous.
Morning all. Still raining, but just drizzle, looks as though it may clear up. Do we still use that weather thread we used to have?
We go to Eastbourne on Thursday to pack up for the move to our Norfolk cottage. Long drive to Dieppe. Back by the tunnel on the way home from Norfolk. Will stay with Son 1 in mid France on the way home. I hope the tunnel isn't still being attacked by those poor immigrants in Calais. I heard that Medecins sans Frontières had built them a new camp.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
