Evening all. Well, yesterday was my youngest's first morning at preschool. I was incredibly excited at the prospect of having a morning to myself and my garden without children/babies for the first time in 4 years. Well, it was all of 10 minutes from me dropping her off, to getting the phone call to collect her because she had been sick .
Managed to get out in the garden in the afternoon whilst she napped, with my eldest 'helping', so not too bad in the end.
Am loving this warmer weather and light mornings and evenings.
Kef, I had some geezers today, just a small bag. Made me think of you
Pod, shame your designated garden time was ruined. Thought you were going to say that it had tipped it down! Well, with the weather we've been having recently . . . .
Dove, just settling down with my GnT, you can't be going to bed. 27 year olds don't go to bed this early
No panda, it was a beautiful morning. I think she just got a bit worked up after I left , but at least she is fine now. Will be giving it another go on Thursday.
All this talk of g&t is beyond me. I've just finished my hot chocolate. Old before my time - I'm actually only a year over 27. Actually, in real life!!
Oh poor you poddington.... I have that April 28th!!!! Can't wait but know I will be pacing all morning...... Right gotta get work stuff sorted then bed for me night peeps
Evening all, tea cooked and eaten, G@Ts drunk, so I would like some chocolates too. Could you possibly do me some cherries marinated in Kirsh and then dipped in dark chocolate.
I agree with Verdun, a few hours in the greenhouse, potting on cuttings, really made me feel like Spring was coming. Could do with a bigger greenhouse.
The only problem I have with the lighter mornings, is that we have a Rookery in the field below us, and at dawn they fly up from their roost straight over our house and onto the moor. Problem is thats about 0630 now.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

Are you trying to insinuate that we aren't really 27 Pod?
G&T for me too please Dove!
Poddington - obviously first day nerves! Sure it will get better and hopefully plenty of glorious garden days to come.
Need to sort through my seed collection and work out what needs planting next.
