I made a hedgehog cake years ago for one of my children's birthday, easy and looked good. You make the cake in 2 bowls then put it together, fattest ends in the middle. But mine was covered in chocolate buttons, that's what was available at the time.

A friend of mine got a pig cake for his girlfriends birthday. Only it didn't have a face, just a rear end with a curly tail in the middle. Everyone except his girlfriend thought it was funny. They split up two weeks later.
