    morning

GWRS you would need sandbags tied around your ankles here  it's as wild as I ve ever know it out there. Dogs refuse to go out

Wonky you are needing a holiday In the sun?

Busy take it easy and hope all goes smoothly

Star agree there is some decent stuff on at the moment. I was pleased to see Happy Valley returning. That had me hooked

    Chicky take things easy

Dove OH should get the bird boxes done without interruption there isn't a bird with an ounce of common sense flying today

all plans cancelled here. Just too dangerous to go out. If I can muster the energy it is probably the day to continue battle with utilities company but there again Do I want to be driven mad with frustration?

    have a good day all

    Morning all.

On top of my 3 hour siesta yesterday, I've just had 9 1/2 hours sleep. I love being home.

Warmest wishes to those feeling poorly, to Mrs Punkdoc and those feeling the force of Henry.

Speaking of old seeds, as I did earlier, some of you might remember that I planted an out of date packet of Yates white flower seeds a few months ago. Well after the Broccolini finished, I transplanted the seedlings into that bed and here they are!  Sharing a bit of space with climbing beans. The scent of something, probably the Allysum, is amazing.  The plant in front is a Broccolini that I saved for seed collecting, otherwise they are from that packet. Rather impressed.

Along with use by dates on food, I ignore use by dates on seeds too.

I've never had any real failures, sometimes the percentage is a bit thin, but if you sow early enough, you can always catch up with another sowing.

...  Anyone remember Frank Finlay in Bouquet of Barbed wire? He is the latest to pass away. So sad. Grew up with him too on the TV.image

Just listened to Ken Bruce playing Peter Gabriel's A Kind and Steady Heart to say goodbye to Sir Terry - big lump in my throat, and I'm not the sentimental type.
